from the Arab world towards Africa and made a successful capital market debut in 2024 with an inaugural EUR 500 Million ESG-labeled bond issuance, to finance a sustainable future for the next generations in Africa.

Arab Coordination
The Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa is a long-time member of the Arab Coordination Group (ACG), a unique strategic alliance that provides a coordinated response to development finance. As one of the largest donor-groups in the world, the Group assists developing countries in reaching their economic and social development objectives through knowledge-sharing, combined expertise, and effective assistance, in line with the mandate of each member institution. Within the Group, BADEA acts as the specialized institution arm of the ACG in Africa.
